Holland & Knight Grows Healthcare Transactions Practice with Addition of Rebecca Waltuch in Boston
BOSTON (July 31, 2025) – Seasoned Healthcare Transactions attorney Rebecca Waltuch has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in Boston. She was previously a partner with McDermott Will & Emery.
Ms. Waltuch advises on a wide range of healthcare transactional and regulatory matters, including counseling hospitals, health systems, healthcare investors and other healthcare clients through complex operational and contracting matters, including multi-state physician practice acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers and affiliations. She counsels clients on structuring transactions and navigating health regulatory issues that arise in such transactions.
Prior to joining McDermott, Ms. Waltuch gained substantial legal experience as in-house counsel to a large community hospital system and clinically integrated physician network that she now leverages to provide clients with insights that meet both business and patient needs. She is specifically experienced in addressing the operational issues that can arise during physician practice acquisitions and in addressing any challenges that arise in the context of payor negotiations and credentialing.

Ms. Waltuch earned a J.D. degree from Northeastern University School of Law, an M.P.H. degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and a B.A. degree from Barnard College at Columbia University. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey.
