Faithful left St Peter's Basilica with goosebumps and strong emotions after paying respect to Pope Francis, whose body was displayed to the public in an open coffin.   Catholics — already expected in Rome in large numbers for the Easter holiday and the ongoing Catholic Holy Year — will be allowed to pay their final respects to the pope through Friday evening.   The funeral, which will bring U.S. President Donald Trump and other world leaders to Rome, will take place on April 26. New Jersey's Commissioner of Environmental Protection Shawn LaTourette told reporters that firefighting crews helped avert "a major disaster" in partially containing a raging wildfire.   The blaze could become the largest in New Jersey in about 20 years, said LaTourette. Tesla investors breathed a sigh of relief after CEO Elon Musk said he would refocus his attention on the electric automaker, but that promise did not entirely dispel worries that his right-wing shift had irrevocably damaged the company's brand. The automaker's shares rose about 5% on Wednesday after Musk said he would cut back his work for U.S. President Donald Trump to a day or two per week from sometime next month after Tesla posted a 71% slump in net income and a sharp drop in automotive revenue. The billionaire's work as an adviser to Trump and his embrace of right-wing politics in Europe have drawn widespread opposition, including protests and vandalism at Tesla showrooms.
